October 2025 Board of Directors Meeting
DHPO Inc. Board Meeting
Date: Thursday, October 23, 2025 - 6:30 pm
Meeting was called to order at 6:35 pm and a quorum was established. Board ofDirectors present: Dave Jacobs (President), Lauren Fulton (via phone), Shauna Smith (Secretary). ECC members present: Rich Love. Members at Large present: Tim Korf, Cheryl Gerger, Lash Russell.
Treasurer’s Report
Reviewed and discussed current financials provided by Glen Roat (Treasurer). DHPO remains in very good standing with account balances exceeding $90,000.
Secretary’s Report - Shauna Smith
2024-2025 current fiscal year membership count - 83 property owners.
Ideas to possibly increase membership were discussed, including possible reduction in annual membership fee.
Member directory to be emailed to members within the next couple of weeks.
December Holiday Dinner Planning - Dave Jacobs
Holiday party to take place Saturday, December 13th at The Grange. Reviewed checklist of items needed for the event, including securing the caterer. Discussed continuing to use Maggiano’s as well as other possible options. Cheryl will work on
researching and securing food provider. Shauna will track RSVPs for the party and provide a complete list for check in.
Volunteers are needed for the morning day of the party for set-up, as well as the day after the party for clean-up. Additional volunteers are needed to help with decorations. Shauna will note volunteers for the day of the party and the day after.
ECC Update - Rich Love
Discussed successful resolution of venue issue with property owner, and ongoing ADU issue. Reviewed current pending ECC/covenant enforcement issues and paths toward resolution.
Other Business/Comments
Discussed recent member report of possible poaching on their property, and possible addition of NO HUNTING signage in the neighborhood or added to main signage at Deerfield entrance points.
Upcoming Board/ECC/Member at Large elections in February. Official call for nominations will take place in early January. Email will go out to property owners in November to ask consideration of running for open positions.
