January 2026 Board of Directors Meeting

DHPO Inc. Board Meeting

Date: Wednesday, January 28, 2026

Meeting was called to order at 6:36 pm and a quorum was established.  Board of Directors present: Dave Jacob (President), Glen Roat (Treasurer), Shauna Smith (Secretary).  ECC members present: Ron VanZandt.  Members at Large present: Tim Korf, Cheryl Gerger, Lash Russell.

Treasurer’s Report

Reviewed and discussed current financials provided by Glen Roat (Treasurer).  DHPO remains in very good standing with account balances exceeding $80,000.

Secretary’s Report - Shauna Smith

2025-2026 current fiscal year membership count - 86 property owners.

Need for new membership meeting projector – Dave Jacobs

Discussion was held regarding the need for a new projector to be used at membership meetings.  Motion was made and approved to allow for purchase of new projector, not to exceed $500.

February Annual/Election Meeting Planning – Dave Jacobs

Meeting to be held on Thursday, February 19th at Franktown Fire Station, 6:30 pm.

Nominations have been received for all open positions (currently unopposed), except Secretary.  Discussed the nomination process at this point, through 2/12/26, requiring 3 member signatures.

·      Each household can cast (2) votes.  If one member of the household cannot attend, they will need to send in their proxy for their vote to be counted.

·      Owners of multiple lots can cast 2 votes total.

·      If an individual owns a property, they can cast 2 votes.

·      Nonresident property owners can cast 1 vote.

Discussed the ballot form and how it will be distributed and counted.

Discussed the proxy form and how to manage it for election.

·      “Proxy holder” is the individual appointed to vote for another.

2025 Recap – 43 projects were processed.

YTD 2026 – 3 projects processed.

Other Business

Discussion was held on the possible desired threshold of DHPO funds on hand before considering an adjustment to annual dues.

Motion was made and approved and meeting was adjourned at 8:22 pm.
