Agenda & Important Details - Semi-Annual Members’ Meeting - Thursday September 17, 2026, 6-9 PM
Dear DHPO Members and Neighbors,
On behalf of the DHPO Board and the ECC, we are delighted to extend a formal invitation to our crucial Semi-Annual Members’ Meeting. This gathering is a cornerstone event designed to foster transparent communication, facilitate collective decision-making, and strengthen the bonds within our wonderful community.
Please mark your calendars for Thursday, September 17, 2026. The meeting will be hosted at the Franktown Fire Protection District Station 181, commencing promptly at 6:30 PM and concluding by 9:00 PM. We encourage you to arrive early, as an opportunity for early check-in and informal networking will begin at 6:00 PM.
Please see the final agenda below. Many important topics will be presented by our Board and ECC volunteers for review and discussion by all members present. All members present, and by proxy, may also vote on two crucial ballot measures currently affecting our Deerfield community.
Ballot Measure 1: Deerfield Signs Renewal Project. Members may vote to decide whether to commission development work (location, permitting, design, cost & schedule) to replace and modernize the Deerfield community sign previously located near the intersection of Russellville Road and Red Deer Road. An extension of this initiative may be to stagger replacement and modernization of all four community signs in order to spread spending over a longer time horizon. You may discover that it's a lot more complicated to replace these signs than you might have expected!
Ballot Measure 2: Persistent Covenants Non-Compliances. Members may vote to decide whether to initiate litigation against new homeowners who have brazenly chosen to violate numerous shared Protective Covenants and constantly ignored all ECC concerted efforts to amicably resolve deficiencies and therefore achieve compliance. This is a serious matter at the very heart of our founding principles for our cherished Deerfield community.
